On this day, January 11, 2000, illustrator and graphic designer Raymond Ameijide died in Cortland Manor, New York. His unique illustrations were constructed of paper and felt, making Ameijide’s work the foundation of contemporary paper engineers. He was also known as “The Rainbow Snipper.”
