On this day, January 17, 1931, illustrator and graphic designer Bob Gill was born in Brooklyn, NY. After studies at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and City College of New York, Gill began working as a graphic design. He has written a variety of books  and has taught at various schools around New York and in London.
