On this day, July 1, 1889, Todros Geller was born in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. Geller studied art in Odessa, Montreal and at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Best known as a printmaker in woodcut and etchings, Geller illustrated more than 40 books over his career.
