On this day, May 30, 1879, illustrator T. Victor Hall was born in Rising Sun, Indiana. Hall studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy and then moved to New York City. He created various magazine covers and story illustrations. After WWI, Hall worked exclusively on illustrating war-torn Europe. Then during WWII he created patriotic posters.
